Ultima is the world’s first baler wrapper that is able to continue collecting crop while the finished bale is being transferred to the wrapping unit. This non-stop operation is facilitated by a pre- compression chamber, which collects and pre-compresses the incoming crop while the previous bale is being tied or net wrapped and transferred to the wrapping unit. This design increases the bale count per hour by up to 50 % over bale counts on established round baler wrapper systems. The bale is transferred very rapidly and simply by gravity. The TIM tractor implement management system takes strain off the operator and allows the baler to control the tractor’s ground speed, ensuring smooth operation while delivering highest bale densities.

Semi-variable bale chamber
Producing 1.25 m to 1.50 m (4'1" to 4'11") diameter bales, the semi-variable bale chamber uses the KRONE NovoGrip elevator with endless rubber fabric belts and metal slats, which provide positive bale roll in all conditions to achieve unsurpassed densities.

Two work faster than one
To match the high machine output, twin arms are used to wrap the bale with 750 mm (2'6") film, orbiting around the bale at high speeds. Monitored by sensors, the wrapping system will go automatically into single-arm mode, if one film breaks or ends.

Tandem axle
The castering boogie axles with parabolic springs provide ample travel and evenly distribute the machine weight between them when running on fragile soil. The boogie axle is approved to 60 km/hr (38 mph).

Ultimate efficiency
Baling straw bale after straw bale without ever stopping, the semi-variable bale chamber produces up to 1.50 m (4'11") diameter bales.
