電動伸縮式鏈鋸

The electro-mechanical Puma chain pruner is powerful, light, extremely fast and noiseless. It can be used either hand held or assembled on one of its special extension poles (fixed: 170 cm - telescopic: either 140-200 cm or 180-240 cm). It can prune any kind of plant. Now available with a 8” bar and a ¼” chain, automatically lubricated by means of a membrane pump, it will be soon also offered with a 10” and a ‘carving’ bar. Fitted with a brushless motor, it can be operated either by the Lipo battery (lithium - 16.8 V) or by an ordinary car battery (lead - 12 V - 100 Amps/hour), using the adequate converter and the 10 m cable. Both solutions guarantee an autonomy of about 8 hours, allowing the operator to carry out more or less 1000 cuts of 8/10 cm diameter. The number of cuts depends, obviously, on the kind of wood, the branches section and the way of use. Puma is equipped with all the necessary devices complying with the current safety rules, such as the inertial brake, which instantly locks the chain, and the automatic active safety, which avoids any accidental starting of the tool. Moreover, there are three in-built protection devices in case of:
1) pole inversion when connecting the power-supply cable to the battery;
2) motor overheating;
3) excessive current absorption.
When, for example, the operator carries out too much pressure while cutting, the chain speed decreases, and the led light becomes red and flashes. Therefore, the operator, having been informed, decreases the pressure, so the led light becomes green, and the chain automatically moves at its highest speed, allowing to end up the cut without any risk either for the motor or for the electronic unit.

Lipo 500 / 720  Battery backpack

The power supplying Lipo unit is based on a new generation of memory-less, lithium-polymer batteries, which can be recharged even when they are not completely flat, this way keeping their maximum efficiency. They do not suffer from overheating, so they ensure top safety and a longer lifetime than the common lithium batteries. The backpack for carrying the batteries is extremely light and resistant and allows great movement freedom while harvesting. The battery weight is well balanced, so that it does not tire the operator.
