The Metracs with hydrostatic travel drive present themselves as powerful, comfortable and versatile. Especially at municipal service, gardening and landscaping, intensive cultivation of lawn and at mountain agriculture the H-series offers convincing advantages:

Select the correct working speed and travel direction ridgeless by the multi-function lever, independent from engine speed and under load.

·         4 speed levels (H4 with 2 speed levels) for maximum power transmission

The hydrostatic travel drive with 3 speed levels provides the ridgeless adaptation of travel speed to the given working conditions – consequently the high engine output is optimal exploited at each working and transport operation.

o        Safe stopping at ascent only by the engine speed – regulate speed like an automatic transmission in a car by the accelerator pedal

o        Focus on the essential – no distraction caused by switching, operating the clutch, parking brake ‘acrobatics’,...

o        Active safety - stop or reduce speed by means of ‘Inch-pedal’

·         Automotive/manual mode

o        Automotive – for constant power take-off speed (mowing, mulching, flailing, snow blowing, ...), engine cannot be overloaded – at increasing load travel speed is reduced automatically to avoid a drop in speed

o        Manual – for high overloading (tedding, gyrating, ...), for working with low engine speed the automotive control is deactivated and a drop in speed is accepted.

• Four-wheel steering, front-wheel steering, rear-wheel steering and crab-steering mode switchable during travel by pressing a button
• Four-wheel drive can be activated and deactivated and differential locks with 100 % jamming effect
