CURRENT STATE OF MECHANIZATION Traditionally, chamomile is collected by hand using combs that allow you to pick only the product of value, that is to say the head without the stem. THE PROTOTYPE The collection system reproduces the cyclic simple manual action that allows you to collect a quality product. By the action of a series of combs fixed on a rotating support, the machine is able to tear the heads and convey them, by means of a conveyor belt, in the tank of the prototype self-propelled. The results of the experimental tests were satisfactory as regards the quality and quantity of the crop. |
